Stories

Life is a collection of stories
Housed within us all
Pages of precious memories
Plastered upon our walls

Chronicles of our experience
Spiral bound by threads of fate
And our job as medical students
Is to examine every page

Experience these tales of adventure
Of their valor and acts of true grit
Fathom their agony and grief
The challenges they have met

Learn from every lesson
Hidden between each line
Consume their endless wisdom
Fine-aged over time

When the lark finishes his song
And the music has come to an end
Life is a collection of stories
Meant to be told again
