Prem is a third year medical student at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. In 2020, he graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiology, a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology, and a minor in Astronomy. He enjoys playing basketball, listening to podcasts, and spending time with family and friends. After graduating medical school, Prem will be pursuing a career in Orthopaedic Surgery.
In a time when we began medical school online during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, most of our preclinical medical education was lecture-based. This meant my experiences at the free health clinics affiliated with our institution were more valuable than ever in introducing me to patient care.
